about me

I am PLASMOMETER, an experimental artist working in different mediums and currently exploring boundaries of my skills. I am currently studying graphic arts at the university and working as an artist part-time.You can call me anything, and use any pronouns. I prefer for people to know as little as possible about me as a person, but don't hesitate to ask things if you want to. I am all about honest and open conversation, so I will say if something makes me uncomfortable.I do fanart often, but original art is more important for me.

Q: Can I use your art as an userpic/header/desktop wallpaper?
A: For original art - yes, of course, but tag me if you're using it on social media. For commissioned art - ask a commissioner.Q: Your character looks sick, can I read something about them?
A: Just go on tumblr and click a tag with their name, I tag all art with them and write backstories on here. If you can't find anything - just dm me, I like to tell stories and share art.Q: Do you do trades?

HOW TO ORDER

  • You can contact me with any means of communication mentioned below. My commission status is usually stated in bio, but it is better to ask

  • If my commissions are closed, you can ask me to put you into a notification list. I will write back to you when they will open, and you will get in the queue first

  • After reserving the slot, I will ask you to describe what do you want. People send me art and photo references, playlists, fanfiction, describe looks, vibes and everything else with text or make stick figure drawings, this all and beyond is good for me. The more you describe, the more accurate I can depict your idea

  • You can give me artistic freedom and I will come up with something myself, but for this to work I need to know the character well, so send me a biography and highlight the most important points for you

  • You can reserve a slot and send refs later, however if I won't receive anything by the time your slot comes up and you won't answer to my reminder in the period of 12 hours, I will move you one point below in the queue

  • You can ask me to move you down in the queue, or remove you from it (if I didn't start your commission) free of charge

  • I will NOT draw: erotic and/or fetish content, sexualised outfits

  • I reserve the right to reject ANY commission for ANY reason before the discussion of payment. I don't really care how long it took for you to collect the refs. If you will continue to lose your mind in my replies or dms, I won't hesitate to block you. Yes, that happened. Twice.

PAYMENT

  • I accept payment via BOOSTY, you can use PayPal or debit/credit card here. Unfortunately, I can't accept payment another way right now

  • I charge for sketches just before I start them, for any work that is more than a b/w sketch I request half after the sketch and half after finished work

  • The pricelist states base prices for everything, I charge additionally for:
    complexity (up to 25%)
    work on the design if you don't have any previous art (up to 75%)
    urgency or finishing before fixed date (up to 50% if more than 2 weeks before the deadline, up to 200% if less, less than 3 days = will probably decline)
    timelapse recording for digital art (10%)
    not posting your commission anywhere (100%)
    corrections after the third one (5% each)
    alternative versions or files for print (discussed individually)
    commercial use (discussed individually)

  • I make no refunds!

WORK PROCESS

  • I am an experimental artist, and that means that I usually change brushes and artstyle to fit the idea better in my opinion. If you want me to recreate a technique I used in particular work, and any changes are critical for you, just state it before I start and link the work

  • I usually finish sketches within a week, and give updates on bigger works each week or more often

  • You can ask me to correct anything, but please, make your corrections in time, it would be very hard for me to change the composition when I'm already rendering

  • I send composition thumbnails for big works. If you don't like them, you can ask me to make more

  • I am not a flawless machine yet and therefore I can forget and mix up things that cannot be easily corrected, for example draw a commission in different medium. In this case I usually have two options: work on it more for the same price, or remake it entirely for 50% of the base price, so you have two versions of the work. Choose what fits you best

  • Don't forget to send your e-mail for hi-res picture, or I will forget about it...

RIGHTS

  • I make commissions for non-commercial use, unless stated otherwise

  • You must mention me as an author or link my social media when using a commission on public, like posting it on your blog or putting it on the userpic

  • You can print your commissions or make any merch with them for yourself and your friends, I can even prepare the files for it for additional price. You can't print commissions for profit unless it was discussed beforehand

  • I reserve the right to use the finished commission and any parts of its process as a paid content for everybody else, but I won't share hi-res files for it anywhere or print it as merch for profit

  • I do not make art for NFTs. No exceptions

  • If you break any of the rules, I will probably cry and try to ruin your reputation. Do not test me
